Computer Science Community:About
From Computer Science Community
The Computer Science Community is a student-driven portal and practical academic exercise intended to bring useful services for Computer Science students and faculty.
The main website is driven by a wiki (<WICK-ee> or <WEE-kee>), which allows for people to easily add, remove, or otherwise edit content in a communal fashion. Because of this, a wiki is an effective tool for collaborative authoring.
[edit] Operations
The Computer Science Community is a joint venture maintained by the NMU Student Chapter of the ACM and the NMU Unix User Group, two official NMU student organizations. Furthermore, it's graciously hosted by hardware provided by the Virtual NMU project.
