ACM Meeting Minutes 2009.09.18

Homecoming Involvement - So, we've never done this as far as I know, but Esther (our Vice President) brought up the idea that we could be involved in homecoming (http://nmu.edu/homecoming). We've already signed up the club for doing the events (Dead River Games) that are being hosted this Sunday (09/20/09) at 2pm before the gaming event. This is a great way to be more involved in our area and a good way to get our name out there for those interested. Also, the theme happens to be "In the Game", which is right up the average CS students' alley. We'll have more information and go over things this coming meeting.
NMU-ACM Services -* I'll be going over some of the services offered by NMU-ACM, you can check them out if you wish:
Problem 4: Revisited -* We'll be going over last week's problem a little in depth, learning some of the tidbits of formatting columns and reading in files in the languages allowed in the programming contest. There might also be another challenge problem given out to the end of the meeting to go over this better.
